Safety News: - Our wild fire smoke section in our AIPP is currently being updated in compliance with new rules adopted recently on the subject. In the following weeks we will take a deep dive into the new rules and dangers of wild fire smoke.
You may have noticed I haven't been sending out the daily AQI and that's bc the rules have changed. Crew leaders will now need to determine AQI at their work sites and carry N95s in their vans for voluntary use. I will also update the JHA to include a place to input AQI at your site. If the AQI goes over the voluntary N95 use factor, we will probably move the crew or send them home, regardless, check with management if that happens.
