Cement Pouring Company Policy

Safety Meeting 09252023

Agenda: Cement Pouring Company Policy

Review of last meeting approved: Yes

Corrections: --

Unfinished business from last meeting: --

Cement is a hazardous substance before it is set.  We do not use cement, so our company policy on residential job sites is to avoid contact with cement while it’s being poured.  Do not begin a job if a pour is in progress. Leave the jobsite if/when cement workers begin a pour on that job site.  Please read the following on the hazards to cement workers to better understand why our company policy is the way it is. A Spanish version is also available at the link below.

Is our Accident and Illness plan working? Yes.  See: https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/Details/workersCompRates.aspx?UBI=602691268&LIC=HEATGL*911MO&VIO=&SAW=false&ACCT=88550302  --Employer’s claim costs are lower than average.
