Mental health issues are generally multifaceted and can include childhood, current or past home environments, exposure to abuse, genetic predisposition, physical diseases, trauma, brain injuries, nutrtional deficiencies, and I'm sure many more I don't know about
However, if you feel you need help, it is important to reach out to your care team. Also, it's none of HeatGuy, Llc's business if you do so. You can tell us if you want but you are not obligated to. If you just need to meet a doctor or therapist, for a regular appointment, get a note if possible. HIPAA and the like prevent doctors/therapists from being specific about what condition you were seen for unless it is a "reportable" disease.
Treatment with and without drugs or both together is available and most of it should be covered under your health insurance. You can start with your regular PCP who can prescribe meds, but should also recommend a few good therapists or psychologists or even psychiatrists. The important thing is to reach out and get treatment.
